FILM & VIDEO (selected credits)

Who is DJ Rubbish? 2003, 30 min, Mini-DV - Producer/Director
This independently financed music documentary follows the career of Peckham-based rapper/producer Shaun Pubis, as he tries to justify his existance on this planet. The film was released on commercial DVD in February 2006.

The Project Brothers - We're Number One, 2005, 24 min - Producer/Editor
This multi-media concept album featured the work of more than a dozen different film-makers, animators and graphic artists. The piece was a visual representation of a political concept album by the Project Brothers and, in keeping with the spirit of the original audio, features a lot of "found" and manipulated footage. I edited the individual clips together, liased with contributors and produced several segments myself using 3D graphics, 2D animation and other techniques. The finished product can be found on the Who Is DJ Rubbish? DVD.

Don't Worry 2004, 4 x 25 min - Contributing Writer
Short run satirical puppet show for Channel 4, taking a suspiciously upbeat look at multinational corporations. The Guardian called it "arrogant, witless and patronising". I agreed with them, but am in the strange position of having to put a TV credit I don't particularly want on my CV.

Things 2002, 4 min - Co-Director
Winner of the "Special Recommendation" prize at the 2002 23:59 film challenge. This baby karaoke film was created entirely within 48 hours by Up at the Big House and is my personal favourite of all the films I've worked on.

We Are The Ztems 10 mins - Co-writer/creator
This one-off rockumentary for Channel 4 follows Scandinavian rock band The Ztems as they try to crack the UK. The film was made under difficult circumstances and while the dialogue was mostly improvised, my work on developing the characters and situations (combined with my contribution to the editing process) earned me a co-creator/writer credit.

The October Tapes 4 x 4 min - Writer / Co-Director
Run by Up at the Big House during October 2000, this was a self-funded exercise in 'stupidly ambitious film-making'. As a group, we devised, wrote, shot and edited four 4-minute films entirely within one month and distributed VHS copies to the media each week. I wrote, co-directed, edited and occasionally appeared in each of the four films. At the end of the month, we hosted an open screening at The Picture Production Company in Soho.

www.londiniumtoday.co.uk[Currently offline] - Contributing editor/moderator
As one of the three contributing editors to this spoof entertainment listings/reviews site, I was responsible not only for writing articles, but also formatting copy into HTML and posting it on-line. The site only produced two issues before being put to rest due to other projects.

www.freeform.org.uk - Site relaunch co-ordinator
I oversaw the transition of this website from a static, graphics-based site into a form which was more dynamic and could be easily updated by the client. This involved a complete re-design of the site and the implementation of template-based content management.
